14. Quammox Preserve

Quammox Preserve is a recently acquired Land Bank property overlooking Katama Bay. When you depart the trailhead, you are greeted by a sweeping view of grassland leading gently down an incline to a small pond and the bay beyond. The path leads to a rocky beach, with a view across to Norton Point Beach. There is a platform where you can store your kayak or rowboat—all you have to do is register with the Land Bank.

Directions: From the Chappy Ferry travel 3.0 miles to “Chappy 5-Corners” and turn onto Quammox Road. Proceed 0.15 mile to the trailhead.
